Injection sites and routes
Last updated 8 days ago
Choose how you took a dose (the route) and, for injections, where (the site). Insights shows which sites you've used and when.
Routes
When a peptide can be taken more than one way, "Log a Dose" shows a "Route" choice:
- "SubQ" (subcutaneous)
- "IM" (intramuscular)
- "Oral"
- "Sublingual"
- "Nasal"
- "Topical"
- "Other"
You'll only see the routes that apply to that peptide. If it can only be taken one way, there's no choice to make. A blend offers the routes all its peptides share. For anything not listed, such as IV, choose "Other".
Injection sites
For SubQ and IM doses, "Log a Dose" asks for an "Injection Site":
- Stomach Upper Left · Stomach Upper Right
- Stomach Lower Left · Stomach Lower Right
- Left Thigh · Right Thigh
- Left Deltoid · Right Deltoid
- Glute Left · Glute Right
- Other (type a description)
Other routes skip this step.
The site is required when you log a dose. It's optional when you record a dose for an earlier day. If you leave it empty there, it shows as "Site not recorded".
Keeping track of where you've injected
Open Insights and find "Injection Sites". A front and back view of your body colors each site by how long ago you last used it, from red (today or yesterday) to green (7 or more days ago). Tap a site to see every dose there in the range you've chosen. Doses taken another way, or logged without a site, aren't included.
Peptimes records the sites you choose. It doesn't pick a site for you or warn you about reusing one. Ask your clinician about site choice and technique.
