Forgot or change your password
Last updated 3 days ago
Forgot it? Type your email on the sign-in screen and tap "Forgot password?". To change it, go to Profile → your name → "Change Password".
Forgot your password
- On the first screen, tap "Sign In".
- Type your email address in "Email".
- Tap "Forgot password?". You'll see "Check your email".
- Open the password reset email on your iPhone and tap the link.
- On "Create a new password", enter your new password twice and tap "Save New Password".
The link works once, for an hour, on the iPhone where you asked for it. Asking again can stop earlier links working. If it says "This link has expired", wait a minute, then ask for a fresh link with "Forgot password?" and open it on this iPhone. If you ask again too quickly, you'll see "Please wait a minute before asking for another link."
Not ready to choose a new password?
Tap "Not now". You'll go back to the sign-in screen and your old password still works. Opening the link doesn't sign you in on its own: until you save a new password, closing Peptimes also takes you back to sign-in. (If you were already signed in, for example after "Forgot your current password?" in Change Password, "Not now" takes you back into the app.)
The email didn't arrive.
Check your spam or junk folder, and check the email address you typed. Then try "Forgot password?" again.
Change your password
- Open Profile and tap your name at the top.
- In "Edit Profile", tap "Change Password".
- Enter your "CURRENT PASSWORD", then your new password twice.
- Tap "Update Password".
Don't know your current password? Tap "Forgot your current password?" and we'll email you a reset link.
Password rules
- "At least 8 characters"
- "An uppercase and a lowercase letter"
- "At least one number"
- "At least one symbol, like ! or @"
Signed in with Apple or Google?
You don't have a Peptimes password. Your password is managed by Apple or Google, so "Change Password" doesn't appear. Edit Profile says: "You signed in with Apple or Google, so your password is managed there."
