App problems: crashes, loading and "unavailable" messages

Last updated 11 days ago

Most problems clear up after you close Peptimes and open it again. If a screen says something "can't be read right now", your data hasn't been deleted. Don't reset anything; tap "Try again".

The app crashes, freezes or won't open

  1. Close Peptimes completely (swipe it away in the app switcher), then open it again.
  2. Restart your iPhone.
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of Peptimes from the App Store, and an up-to-date iOS.
  4. Still stuck? Report it with "Report a Bug" (Profile), or email us. Tell us what you were doing when it happened. See "Contact us".

"Checking your records…", "can't be read right now" or "Unavailable"

  • "Checking your records…" means Peptimes is still reading your saved data. Give it a moment.
  • "… can't be read right now" or "Unavailable" means Peptimes couldn't read part of your saved data just now. In the meantime it doesn't show anything as zero or missed, so you won't see false gaps.

What to do:

  1. Tap "Try again".
  2. If the message stays, close and reopen Peptimes.
  3. If it keeps happening, contact us.

Don't use "Reset All Data" to fix it. Reset erases your data.

My data disappeared

  • Check the account: sign in the same way as before (the same email, or the same Apple or Google account). Each account has its own data.
  • Did you reinstall Peptimes or move to a new iPhone? Your data is stored on the iPhone, so a reinstall or a new iPhone starts empty. See "New phone, reinstalling, or starting over".

Apple or Google sign-in doesn't come back to Peptimes

Check your internet connection and try again. If the sign-in page stays open, tap "Done" or "Cancel" to close it, then try again. Still stuck? Contact us.

Text looks cut off

Peptimes supports larger text sizes. If something is cut off or overlaps, take a screenshot and send it with "Report a Bug".
