Using the Peptide Library
Last updated 4 days ago
The Library is Peptimes' reference guide to 200+ peptides and related compounds. Search by name, browse by category and open any entry to read about it.
Find a peptide
- Search: type in "Search peptides...". The search covers names and other names, including brand names. Capitals, spaces and dashes don't matter. While you're typing, the whole Library is searched, whichever category is selected.
- Browse: tap a category chip, such as "Recovery & Repair", "Metabolic & Weight", "Longevity", "Skin & Beauty", "Hormones" or "Sleep". Tap "All" to see everything.
A chip shows the peptides whose main category it is. A peptide's page can list other categories too.
What's on a peptide's page
- At the top: its categories, its FDA status and any brand name.
- "Your doses" (once you've logged it): how many doses you've logged and the last one. Tap it to see them in Dose History.
- "Quick Info": "Dose", "Frequency", "Route", "Half-life" and "Evidence Rating".
- "What Is It?" and "Mechanism of Action."
- "What studies found."
- "Clinical Evidence": study summaries with links to the source. "Show … more studies ↓" opens the rest.
- "FDA & Legal Status": "FDA Status", "Compounding" and "WADA Status", plus "DEA Schedule" for a controlled substance.
- "Known Side Effects" and "Contraindications."
- "Storage & Stability."
- A disclaimer card: "Research Information Only — Not Medical Advice". The ⚠ button at the top opens it too.
To understand the labels and dose lines, see "What the Library's labels mean".
Where does the information come from?
It comes from published research, official drug labels and other public sources, with links on each page where available. It may be incomplete or out of date, and research on many peptides is early or done only in animals. Always check with a licensed clinician.
Track a peptide from the Library
Library pages are for reading. To track a peptide, add it in My Protocols. See "Add a peptide to your stack".
Spotted a mistake, or missing a peptide?
Tell us: use "Report a Bug" for a mistake, and say which peptide and which section. Use "Feature Request" to ask for a peptide to be added. See "Contact us".
