Where your data lives, and who can see it
Last updated 4 days ago
Your tracking data (doses, check-ins, weights, Body Profile and protocols) is stored on your iPhone, inside Peptimes. Our servers hold only what's needed for your account.
What's stored on your iPhone
- your protocols, schedules and reminders;
- the doses you log, and your answers about past doses;
- your Daily Check-ins and side effects;
- your weight history and Body Profile;
- your goals, units and app settings.
This data isn't sent to Peptimes' servers.
What's on Peptimes' servers
For your account, our servers hold:
- your sign-in: your email address, and your Apple or Google sign-in if you use one;
- your first and last name;
- if you signed up with Apple or Google, a note that you agreed to the Terms, Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer.
If you signed up with email, your agreement to the terms is saved on your iPhone instead.
Do you sell or share my data?
Our Privacy Policy says we don't sell your personal data and don't share your health data with advertisers. Read it in Profile → "Privacy Policy".
Do you use analytics or tracking?
Peptimes doesn't include any analytics or advertising tools. Crash reports are off unless you turn them on: Home asks once ("Send crash reports?"), and you can change it anytime in Profile → "Share crash reports". They contain technical error details only, sent to Sentry, never your doses, compounds, measurements or notes.
Is my data encrypted?
Your data is stored inside the Peptimes app on your iPhone. The best way to protect it is to use a passcode and Face ID on your iPhone.
Who might see my information?
- Anyone who sees your lock screen: dose reminders show the peptide name and amount. To hide them, see "How reminders work".
- Anyone you send an export or bug report to: exports contain your health data. Bug reports contain what you type, the app version, your device type (iOS), and a screenshot only if you attach one.
- Websites you open from Peptimes: study links in the Library, and our help center and feature board (run by Featurebase), have their own privacy policies.
Is Peptimes covered by HIPAA?
Peptimes isn't a healthcare provider. Our Privacy Policy explains which privacy rules apply to us.
Found a security problem?
