Set a schedule: how often, what time and for how long
Last updated 11 days ago
Enter the schedule you already follow. Peptimes then shows each dose on Home and Calendar and can remind you when it's due.
Don't use Peptimes to decide what to take, how much, how often or for how long. Set the schedule to match the plan you follow with your clinician.
Open the schedule sheet
- It opens by itself when you add a peptide.
- To change an existing schedule: Profile → "My Protocols" → "Edit" (or "Set Schedule").
What you can set
- "DOSE AMOUNT" and its unit: "MCG", "MG", or "IU" for the compounds measured in IU. Check the unit before you save.
- "ROUTE": shown only when the peptide can be taken more than one way.
- "FREQUENCY": choose one of these.
- "DOSE TIME": tap a time to change it. In "Custom", tap "+ Add Dose Time" for another one.
- "CYCLE LENGTH" (optional): "No end date", a number of weeks from the list, or "Custom" to type your own.
- "CYCLE START DATE": appears once you've chosen a cycle length. Pick today or an earlier date, up to six months back.
When you're done, tap "Save Schedule ✓".
Only take it some days, or as needed?
- Certain weekdays only: use "Custom" (or a weekly option) and pick the days.
- As needed, with no fixed schedule: tap "Skip — I'll just log manually" at the bottom of the sheet. You'll log doses yourself with "Log", and you won't get reminders for that protocol.
Can I start a schedule in the future?
Not yet. The start date can be today or an earlier date. To begin later, add the protocol on the day you start.
What happens when the cycle ends?
- Home and Calendar stop showing doses for that protocol after the last day.
- You may still get reminders for it until you remove the protocol in My Protocols. Removing it keeps the doses you've already logged.
What the labels in My Protocols mean
- "ACTIVE": the protocol has a schedule. It shows its amount, how often, and its times.
- "MANUAL": you log it whenever you take it ("Manual protocol — log doses as you take them"). It has no reminders.
- "NEEDS SETUP": it was added without a schedule, for example when you skipped it during setup. Tap "Set Schedule". On Home, these show under "Needs setup" with a "Set" button.
