Using the Calculator
Last updated 8 days ago
The Calculator does the arithmetic for a vial you've reconstituted. You enter what's in the vial, how much water you added and the amount on your plan, and it shows the syringe units. It never tells you what to add or what to take.
In the app it reads "For measuring only. Not dosing advice.", with this note on every tab: "For measuring only. Not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before use."
Open the Calculator
- On Home, tap the "Calculator" card ("Dose tools"), or
- open Profile → "Calculator".
The four tabs
"Reconstitute": for a vial you're reconstituting.
- Under "Select Peptide", optionally pick the peptide. This only fills in its name.
- Choose your "Syringe Size".
- Under "Peptide Vial Size", tap how many mg are in your vial, or tap "Custom amount" and type it. If you picked a peptide, this heading shows its name.
- Under "BAC Water", do the same for the mL of BAC water you add.
- Under "Target Dose", choose "MG" or "MCG", then tap or type the amount on your plan.
The quick-pick buttons are the same for every peptide. Tap "Custom amount" to type any other number. "Dose→Units" and "Units→Dose" work the same way.
The "Result" shows the units to draw, the volume in mL, how much of the syringe that fills, the concentration, and roughly how many doses the vial holds.
"Dose→Units": you know your amount and want the units. Enter the syringe size, the vial size, the BAC water and your amount.
"Units→Dose": you know the units you drew and want the amount. Enter the vial size, the BAC water and the "Units Drawn", and choose mg or mcg under "Show Result As". The reference table lets you tap other unit counts.
"Blend Dose": for a vial holding more than one peptide. See "Blends: several peptides in one injection".
Common questions
Why doesn't it tell me how much water to add, or what dose to take?
The Calculator doesn't give dosing or preparation advice; it only works with the numbers you enter. Ask a licensed clinician or pharmacist about those.
My result is an odd number of units. What should I draw?
The Calculator shows the exact result of your numbers. How to measure that on your syringe is a question for your clinician or pharmacist.
It says "exceeds syringe".
The volume is more than the syringe size you chose holds. Check your numbers, and pick the "Syringe Size" that matches your syringe.
I can't find my peptide in the Calculator.
The Calculator's peptide list is shorter than the Library. You don't need to pick a peptide: just enter your vial and water amounts and your amount.
Does it handle IU?
No. The Calculator works in mg and mcg only. See "Syringe units, mg and mcg explained".
Can I send a result to my schedule?
Only for blends, from the Calculator on Home. See "Blends: several peptides in one injection".
